"We created something monumental, contemporary and timeless, so the transition from the exterior to the interior would be seamless," says Alessandro Munge. "This beautiful harmony begins in the double-height lobby, where we used luxurious natural materials such as tone-on-tone limestone for the floor and walls. For a sculptural element, we added a spiral stairway to the second level with structural columns done in bush-hammered limestone to add another textural layer. Pears will appeal to everyone from young professionals to empty-nesters who appreciate the aesthetic of contemporary design."
