Recently, we had the opportunity to visit ELAD CANADA’s Emerald City site in Toronto to get an update on the construction progress. We explored Emerald City 1 and went straight to the top floor to take in the amazing view of the surrounding trees’ changing colours.

Emerald City 1 has topped off at 36 storeys and the window installation is complete. Drywall is quickly being installed in the suites and many of the lower floors have the flooring, kitchens, and bathrooms installed!

The cladding of Emerald City 2 is almost complete, and construction at Dream Tower has reached the 11th floor (just under halfway).

All these photos of the incredible views were taken from the top penthouse level of Emerald City 1. If you want to wake up to views like this every morning - you’re in luck - there are still two penthouse units available. Both are one-bedroom+dens and one faces east and the other west. The only decision you need to make is whether you want the sunrise or sunset.

About Emerald City

There are four towers currently underway at Emerald City. As mentioned above, the first three are already under construction.

At Emerald City 1, there are only a few units remaining, ranging from 735 to 1,009 square feet. One-bedroom+den and two-bedroom+den floorplans are available. Construction is progressing quickly now, and occupancy is scheduled for the beginning of December.

There are a few more available units at Emerald City 2, ranging from 539 to 1,005 square feet, with one-bedroom to two-bedroom+media floorplans. When Emerald City 2 is topped off, it will stand 29 storeys. Occupancy is scheduled for 2014.

Dream Tower will stand 25 storeys and feature 316 units ranging from 546 to 1,265 square feet, with one-bedroom to two-bedroom+den floorplans. A distinct characteristic of Dream Tower is the balcony space; the majority range from about 100 to 300 square feet. Occupancy is scheduled for 2014, as well.

Biyu Condos is the fourth and latest tower at Emerald City. It is currently in the preconstruction phase. ELAD CANADA plans to open Biyu Condos before the end of 2013, so click here and register!
