Construction Update: Corktown Mews

Anyone who reads the HomesandCondosBlog knows that we love to update you on the construction of the cool high-rise condo developments in the Greater Toronto Area. We venture out to all areas of the city to give you a peek at some of our favourite projects.

This week, we did something a little different and checked out a low-rise site. We struggled for a while, trying to find the right low-rise development to cover, but we think this is a good one! We headed out to the corner of River St. & Raffiex Ln. to learn more about Corktown Mews, the latest townhome community presented by Fieldgate Homes.

The last time that we went to Corktown to check out Corktown Mews, there was a huge line-up at the sales centre. As you can see from our photos, our friends over at Fieldgate Homes have come a long way since that day.

Corktown Mews is an intimate collection of 37 townhomes on what will soon become an eight-block community. The site was a brownfield, but Fieldgate Homes has put in a lot of time transforming it into a livable community, featuring respectful architecture in one of the most highly anticipated districts of Toronto.

Progress has really ramped up in the last few months, and we look forward to taking a stroll down River St. this time next year to see just how close Corktown Mews is to completion.
