Construction Update: 77 Charles West by Aspen Ridge Homes
By Lucas on Dec 03, 2012
We’ve been keeping an eye on a certain Toronto condo for a few years now. It’s located near the corner of Bay and Bloor, it has a pretty cool design, it’s by Aspen Ridge Homes, and … have you guessed it yet? It’s 77 Charles West, obviously!
With the majority of the glass-cladding up, we just had to see how 77 Charles looks now. What really stood out to us this time, is how 77 Charles stands out from its neighbouring buildings. 77 Charles is rising next to a Victorian styled building, and across the street from One St. Thomas, an art deco-inspired project.
The contemporary design at 77 Charles makes it stand out. The use of glass, and the curved west face, contrast the surrounding architecture — it was obviously Aspen Ridge’s goal to stand out, and they definitely accomplished it.
Although 77 Charles is unlike any of the surrounding buildings, it manages to somewhat complement its neighbours by its staggered heights and layers. With this shape, 77 Charles is actually mirroring One St. Thomas, but still manages to pop out as a sophisticated luxury condo.
There are a few units still available at 77 Charles, ranging from 1,487 to 3,732 square feet, with floorplans spanning from one-bedroom to two-bedroom+den. Some of the impressive interior features and finishes include pre-finished engineered plank or solid hardwood, 10’ to 12’ ceilings, custom Downsview cabinetry, and granite, marble, or limestone countertops.
Actually, Aspen Ridge has opened a brand new model suite at 77 Charles West, so you can go check it out today!
If you’re in search of a luxury downtown condo in Yorkville for your next home, then 77 Charles West by Aspen Ridge Homes is definitely a must see.
