Construction Tour: Cranbrooke Village
By Lucas on Aug 21, 2013
We recently had the opportunity to take a construction tour of Options for Homes’ Toronto condo development, Cranbrooke Village. We met our tour guide on site; the Construction Superintendent, Emiliano Cervini of Deltera (Tridel’s construction arm).
Construction progress at Cranbrooke Village
To start our tour, Cervini lead us straight to the roof to check out the great views. Cranbrooke Village only stands 13 storeys, but in the Bathurst and Lawrence area, that’s pretty high. As you can see in the photos, the views are outstanding no matter which way you’re facing.
After taking in the views, Cervini lead us down the stairs, giving us a feel for the different stages of construction currently underway. The higher floors still lacked structural elements like walls or drywall, while drywall installation was ongoing throughout the medium level floors. The lower floors, from about floor four and down, were getting ready to have the bathrooms and kitchens installed.
Cervini explained that construction started in February of 2012, and according to Options for Homes, occupancy should take place February of 2014.
What’s available at Cranbrooke Village
There are only five units remaining at Cranbrooke Village. The floorplans range from one-bedroom to three-bedroom, with sizes spanning from 515 to 1,110 square feet.
The best part about Cranbrooke Village is that the one-bedrooms start at $210,784, the two-bedrooms start at just $333,952, and the three-bedrooms are only $437,969! You can get over 1,000 square feet for under $450,000 - that’s a pretty great deal.
Cranbrooke Village even has some amazing amenities, like a rooftop garden, a library, a lounge, a boardroom, a multi-purpose room with a kitchen, and a car sharing program.
