Just over a year ago, we attended the groundbreaking of Gemterra Development Corporation's highly anticipated Scarborough project, LOVE Condominiums. Today, we are happy to share some info about the development, as well as a few photos of a very busy construction site!

Construction at LOVE Condos

The last time we saw the LOVE Condos site, the only dirt that had been turned was by the tips of shovels. Now, the site is a hub of activity - two cranes are up and the construction crew is hard at work. It’s only a matter of time before the neighbourhood starts to feel the true impact that LOVE Condos will have on the streetscape.

When LOVE Condos is complete it will stand 20 storeys tall, and accent the Scarborough streetscapes with its sharp, modern design, which was conceived by Turner Fleischer Architects.

About LOVE Condos

LOVE Condos will be comprised of a wide array of units and 14 stunning townhomes. The condo unit floorplans range from one-bedroom to two-bedroom+den, with sizes spanning from 487 to 860 square feet. The townhomes come with spacious three-bedroom+den floorplans, with sizes ranging from 1,374 to 1,729 square feet.

Some of the exquisite interior features and finishes include floor-to-ceiling windows, hardwood laminate flooring, Energy Star appliances, sleek granite countertops, and stylish ceramic backsplashes.

LOVE Condos is designed to embrace indoor and outdoor living. The units are open concept, creating comfortable and bright spaces. Each unit also features spacious balconies and terraces, the largest reaching nearly 300 square feet.

LOVE Condos’ Scarborough neighbourhood

Located at 185 Bonis Ave., near Sheppard and Kennedy, LOVE Condos will be surrounded by a variety of great neighbourhood amenities, including the Chinese Professionals Association of Canada, and the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto.

LOVE Condos’ neighbourhood features many family-oriented amenities as well, like shopping malls, restaurants, and community centres. Also, seven of the top 40 schools in the Greater Toronto Area are within minutes of LOVE Condos.

For all those commuters out there, the Agincourt GO Station is within walking distance, and Highway 401 is just a short drive away.
