Connect with Homeowners Before They Move In

Homebuyers who are eager to get into their new condo or townhome would probably love the chance to get to know their neighbours before the move-in date. If you have a Facebook Company page, there are several ways you can encourage your online community to chat with each other. This will also be beneficial for you as a builder because it gives you the chance to learn more about your clientele and raise your page’s engagement score.
• Post open-ended content: Ask questions that require more than a “yes” or “no”. An example of this could be “What do you think of the new condos in Mississauga on _____ Street?” Asking open-ended questions can give you valuable insight about the types of homes people are interested in.
• Be conversational: Talking at your community won’t result in as much participation as talking with them. One way to start a conversation is to ask your Facebook fans about something trending in pop culture. The topic at hand doesn’t necessarily need to be about your brand or the building industry.
• Allow fans to ask questions: If a homebuyer has a question about new condos in Etobicoke, Scarborough, North York, etc. be sure to answer them as soon as you can. You can even hold an open forum Q&A on your Company Facebook Page where people can submit their questions for you to answer.
• Encourage Facebook users to communicate with each other: Try posting a question that speaks directly to your homebuyers and inspires them to talk to one another. For example: “Who has purchased a new townhome in our Etobicoke community?” or “What is one of your favourite features in your new home?” These types of questions will help to open the lines of communication.
All of these suggestions can help increase activity on your Facebook page. It will also help you build a more personalized relationship with your Facebook fans.
