By Jen Taylor on Jan 12, 2015

The City of Brampton is currently experiencing unprecedented growth, and is now home to many growing industries including communications, logistics, life sciences, and information-based companies. The Peel Region is the ideal place to start a career in these fields, and offers families the perfect balance between the convenience of the city and the beauty of Ontario’s countryside. Fortunately for individuals and families looking to relocate to this growing region, Bremont Homes has six ravine lots still available in the beautiful and private Noblewood community, and a new release is scheduled for this month!

Noblewood Estates

Noblewood is located in an enclave of Springbrook, nestled within a private forested area, yet only minutes from the heart of downtown Brampton. The first phase of this intimate community is composed of just 28 homes situated around a private court and surrounded by mature forest. Each home sits on a spacious 40’ or 50’ lot that stretches up to 240’ deep.

Architecturally, the Noblewood Estates community is influenced by the English manor and French chateau styles, ensuring that each home matches the beauty of the surrounding natural landscape. Each residence features unique architectural details including bay/bow windows, bell-curved roofs, gables, decorative columns, stone detailing on the exterior, 3.5 bathrooms, four to five bedrooms, and a two-door garage. Homebuyers are also eligible for up to $100,000.00 in upgrade options, which allows homeowners to choose from a number of features and finishes to customize and create the perfect home.

Finding family time in Brampton

Brampton, also known as the Flower City, is a thriving, growing, and engaging community. The city actively encourages economic growth and entrepreneurship, has implemented a new transportation system to meet the needs of the growing population, and hosts a number of community events to engage residents and foster civic pride.

Growing families will appreciate Noblewood’s proximity to a number of Peel region’s excellent schools including the David Suzuki Secondary School, John Knox Christian School, Ingleborough Public School, and the James Potter Public School. In addition to great educational institutions, the City of Brampton is also home to excellent recreational facilities and libraries as well as heritage buildings, two of which are located in the heart of downtown Brampton. The Alderlea House, dating back to the 19th century, and the beautiful Capitol Theatre, built in the 1920s and originally used to stage vaudeville acts and screen silent films are both still in use today.

Downtown Brampton boasts a number of great restaurants, boutiques, and community events. City residents gather throughout the year in the stunning Garden Square for BBQs, music festivals, and theatre productions, and meet every Saturday to buy fresh produce and local artwork at the Brampton Farmers Market. Brampton is a great spot for dining and the Globe and Mail even featured several Brampton restaurants in an article on the best places to eat just west of Toronto. The restaurant scene thrives due to the city’s diversity and cultural enclaves. Check out Kwality Sweets and Restaurant for Punjabi-style cooking, stop into Fanzorelli’s for Italian and a glass of wine, or try some traditional Caribbean food at Gem’s House of Jerk.

Finally, Brampton is equipped with a number of great activities designed to entertain the whole family. Families can stay refreshed at Wild Water Kingdom, a 100-acre outdoor park equipped with waterslides, wave pools, and a lazy river, and Brampton’s picturesque Eldorado Park is the perfect setting for a picnic. Active families will enjoy the Heart Lake Conservation Area, a great spot for hiking, swimming, and flying through the treetops at the brand new Treetop Trekking course. Or, hike along the trails and spot some wildlife in the Meadowvale Conservation Area, a protected natural and recreational space along the winding Credit River. Amidst all of the great restaurants, community events, and recreational activities, families will have a number of ways to spend more time together.
