CityLights on Broadway Grand Opening this weekend!

If you frequent our blog on a regular basis, you know how much we love the Yonge and Eglinton neighbourhood. Midtown is the perfect combination of downtown amenities and small-town atmosphere, which is why we’re very excited about the Grand Opening of CityLights on Broadway by Pemberton Group!
On Saturday, February 27th at 12 noon the doors will open to the public at the new CityLights sales centre located at 2480 Yonge Street. The sales centre vignettes showcase the exciting Cecconi Simone-designed kitchens and bathrooms as well as the exceptional features and finishes of the well-designed suites. In celebration, Pemberton will offer limited-time Grand Opening Incentives.
Following on the unprecedented success of the first tower at CityLights – which was 2015’s fastest-selling condo project, the South Tower echoes the highly popular suites, and construction on the community is scheduled to begin this spring.

CityLights’ two 37-storey towers will be linked by a five-storey podium and will rise on the southwest corner of Broadway and Redpath Avenue, steps from Yonge and Eglinton. The neighbourhood has a Walk Score of 93 out of 100 thanks to all of the amazing local shops, services, restaurants, and cafes. There are also plenty of parks and quiet tree-lined streets wind through the area.
In addition to all that Yonge has to offer, the Yonge Eglinton Centre is currently undergoing a major renovation, which will add even more retail options to the 75 existing shops and services. There is already a Metro grocery store and Cineplex theatre in the Centre, making it a favourite destination.
The CityLights neighbourhood also has a Transit Score of 91 due to the easy access to the Yonge Subway line. We won’t be surprised if the Transit Score shoots up to a full 100 once the Eglinton Crosstown LRT is complete, which will connect to 54 bus routes, three subway stations, and GO Transit.

While CityLights owners will experience the best that the neighbourhood has to offer on a daily basis, at home they will also have access to over 28,000 square feet of onsite amenities. Also designed by Cecconi Simone, The Broadway Club offers 18,000 square feet of indoor space featuring a sports court, a fitness centre, juice bar and lounge, and three guest suites.
The more than 10,000 square feet of landscaped podium rooftop space has two pools connected by a bridge, a waterfall feature, hammocks for relaxing in the sun, private cabanas for lounging in the shade, fire pits with seating, and barbecue stations. There will also be a tiered amphitheatre to watch movies and sporting events under the stars with neighbours and friends.
