Canary Park Grand Opening this Weekend!
By Lucas on Aug 06, 2014
We have news that will make this short week even more exciting - On Saturday, August 9, Dundee Kilmer is celebrating the grand opening of Canary Park, the second phase of the Canary District master-plan in the east end of Toronto.
Here are 7 reasons why you need to call Canary Park home:
1) Prices start in the mid $200,000s!
2) Since the condo will serve as housing for the athletes of the Pan Am/Parapan Am Games in 2015, the building is nearly complete already.
3) The condo rests on the edge of the 18-acre Corktown Common, Toronto’s newest park.
4) The Canary District will feature health and wellness focused retail.
5) The new neighbourhood features a new George Brown residence and a YMCA.
6) Easy access to amazing neighbouring areas, including the St. Lawrence Market, the Distillery District, and the Financial District.
7) New transit options make other downtown destinations a breeze to get to.

First-time homebuyers should also set aside time to visit Canary Park on August 9 because of Dundee Kilmer’s amazing MyHome program. If you’re a first-time homebuyer who meets the program’s criteria, you could potentially own at Canary Park for just $1,000 a month. When we spoke with Ken Tannenbaum earlier this summer, he said there are 50 suites available through the MyHome program at Canary Park. Do not miss this opportunity!
The doors to the Canary Park presentation centre at 398 Front Street East (at Cherry Street) will open at 12 pm on August 9. We don’t expect the remaining suites to stick around long after the grand opening weekend, so make sure you attend (especially you, first-time homebuyer).
