Canada Eastide Group celebrates official opening in Markham

The team at Newinhomes.com is used to attending the grand opening of new housing developments across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), and sometimes beyond! Recently, we had the pleasure of attending the official grand opening ceremony of a brand new real estate developer in Markham, Canada Eastide Group.

The opening celebration was hosted at Canada Eastide Group’s new corporate head office at 7030 Woodbine Avenue, Markham. Members of their team, including Mr. Jun Chen, the chairman of Jiangsu Eastide Group, and Mr. Xiaoshuo Ji, President of Canada Eastide Group, joined family and friends, members of the new home industry, and local councillors in celebrating the exciting milestone.

Canada Eastide Group is comprised of the Jiangsu Eastide Group, based in China, and many Canadian real estate elite. The developer has cherry-picked some fantastic talent from across the GTA to ensure they are combining the best skills from both worlds.

Focusing on real estate development, land transactions, capital exchange, construction, and investment, Canada Eastide Group will surely make a strong impact on Markham and surrounding areas. They also plan to promote and support further economic interaction between China and Canada.

Canada Eastide Group’s business partners/vendors were also present at the opening celebration because part of the ceremony involved the final signing of the contracts between them.

“His drive and passion for superior customer service, his professionalism, his high quality performance was totally in line with who we are,” said Garry Shapiro, owner of Shapiro and Cho Barristers and Solicitors. “So, we decided to align ourselves with Jiangsu and Eastide, and to grow successfully with them.”

Over the last year, we have seen many new developers from China setting up shop in the GTA, especially in Markham, Scarborough, and Richmond Hill. When prominent development companies from economic powerhouse countries like China recognize that the GTA has great potential, we can’t help but get excited about what plans they have for Toronto and the surrounding areas!
