Builders Celebrate the Success of Lotus Pointe!
By Lucas on Jun 02, 2015
Last weekend, we had the pleasure of joining Fieldgate Homes, Greenpark, Rosehaven Homes, and Starlane Home Corporation at Lotus Pointe in Caledon to celebrate the community being over 50% sold and under construction!
The Lotus Pointe celebration was a rain or shine event that took place under a big white tent in the parking lot for the four sales centres. We think it’s pretty safe to say that the late morning/early afternoon rain was probably the worst that Caledon has seen this spring season. But, despite the torrential downpour, many families made it out to celebrate with the four builders.
Homebuyers and their children helped themselves to complimentary pizza and refreshments while mingling and grooving to the DJ’s tunes. The two clowns at the celebration were definitely the biggest hits with the kids. One of them was facepainting and the other creating balloon animals and flowers...and of course balloon swords, which were probably the most popular choice for obvious reasons.
It was nice to be at Lotus Pointe in a relaxed manner, because the last couple times we were there, hundreds of prospective homebuyers were crowding the sales centre to get the first glimpse at the highly anticipated community - first for the VIP opening and then for the grand opening. When four builders of this caliber get together to bring a single community to a neighbourhood as beautiful as this, it’s always an attention grabber.
It goes without saying that the community is surrounded by a breathtaking natural landscape because it’s Caledon. No matter where you are in Caledon, it’s beautiful. Even driving on the little side roads in the middle of a crazy storm is pleasant. The thing that stands out about Lotus Pointe’s location is that it is actually in the more southern section of the town, so all of the family amenities of Brampton are also easily accessible. Everyone who decides to call Lotus Pointe home will have the best of two worlds; the natural beauty, small businesses, and local farming markets that Caledon has to offer, and the shopping and other services that Brampton has to offer.
The homes of Lotus Pointe
Each builder is contributing a unique collection of homes to the Lotus Pointe community, which will make for vibrant streetscapes that will surely complement the natural environment. Fieldgate’s collection features 38’ and 43’ detached singles ranging from 2,052 to 3,382 square feet, with prices starting in the low $600,000s.
Greenpark is selling 41’ and 43’ detached singles, ranging from 2,653 to just over 4,000 square feet, with prices starting in the upper $600,000s (UPDATE: Greenpark is now 90% sold at Lotus Pointe!). Rosehaven Homes’ collection includes freehold townhomes and 36’ detached singles, ranging from 1,461 to 2,722 square feet, with prices starting in the mid $400,000s. And, Starlane’s offering features 38’ detached singles, ranging up to 3,272 square feet, with prices starting at $599,900.
Remember, this celebration was held because Lotus Pointe in now over 50% sold, and we’re guessing that each builder made a few sales at the event because we saw a lot of people going in and out of the sales centres. If you want to call this incredible Caledon community home, then you need to visit the sales centres at 12891 Hurontario Street Monday to Thursday from 1 pm to 8 pm, or on the weekend from 11 am to 6 pm.
