Branthaven is launching Explore in Stoney Creek this fall!
By Lucas on Aug 11, 2016
It’s no longer debatable - Hamilton is a hot spot for new low-rise residential development, especially since both the resale and new home market is struggling with low supply across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). One Hamilton community that we are very excited about is Explore in Stoney Creek by Branthaven Homes.
Explore will feature a selection of stylish two- and three-storey freehold townhomes at 189 Quigley Road, near Laurier Park, just south of King Street East. Branthaven plans to launch Explore this fall so there will probably be more details dropping soon.
You’re going to want to be among the first to receive updates about Explore because Branthaven has a history of selling their projects very quickly after opening. Just look at Oakvillage - the first two phases sold out so quickly (and they’re now accepting registrations for Phase 3).
And one of Branthaven’s other recent Stoney Creek townhome communities, Freedom, is now sold out! Freedom is located near Explore, so there’s a pretty good chance that there are buyers that missed their chance at Freedom and are now awaiting the Explore opening.
With many years of experience and amazing customer service, Branthaven has established a strong reputation and buyers have become very loyal. Earlier this year at the groundbreaking of Branthaven’s Lake House community in Grimsby, President Steve Stipsits said, “We have people in the midst of buying their first Branthaven home right to their fifth Branthaven home.”
That’s how loyal their buyers have become. There are people buying their fifth Branthaven home in Grimsby, and we wouldn’t be surprised at all if there are repeat buyers at Explore this fall.
Exploring Stoney Creek
You don’t need to travel far from Explore to discover a wealth of family oriented neighbourhood amenities. Within walking distance of the site, there is Sir Wilfrid Laurier School, Laurier Park, and Sir Wilfrid Laurier Recreation Centre. There is plenty of green space for outdoor activities in the park, and you can go for a swim at the recreation centre!
Other nearby schools include Elizabeth Bagshaw School, Rosedale Elementary, Glen Echo Junior Public School, and there is also a middle school. Clearly, Explore will be built in a family-friendly area, making it an ideal spot to set firm roots.
For groceries, there is a Foodland just a few minutes away, and the majority of grocery store options are up along Queenston Road. Here, you’ll have access to a No Frills, Starsky Fine Foods, a Fortinos, and other specialty food stores.
In fact, Queenston Road and Centennial Parkway is a major intersection near Explore where Eastgate Square is located. There are more than 100 retailers at Eastgate Square, featuring fashion boutiques and restaurants. Plus, the surrounding area offers many other amenities, including banks, shops, big box stores, and entertainment options.

We are anticipating a big turnout for the opening of Explore in Stoney Creek. Branthaven Homes will have many prospective purchasers coming out for the opening, including loyal repeat buyers, families that missed out at Freedom, and smart investors that recognize Hamilton’s value.
With prices starting in the low $300,000s, there will even be first-time buyers looking to make their dream of homeownership come true.
