Brandy Lane Homes steps up to revitalize Robertson Davies Park

Recently, a Hydro One crew cut down 29 Norway Maple trees on the north side of Robertson Davies Park without permission or consultation. We are very glad to hear that Brandy Lane Homes has taken the initiative to rectify this error and will be working closely with the City of Toronto and Hydro One.
Brandy Lane Homes is developing The Davies Condominiums, a nine-storey, 41-residence luxury condo on Avenue Road at Cottingham Street on the north side of Robertson Davies Park. Brandy Lane Homes feels a sense of responsibility to help the park become what it once was and even improve it.
“I have had positive conversations with Ward 22 Councillor Josh Matlow and together with the City of Toronto and through community meetings and discussions, we are formulating a plan of revitalizing the Park in the wake of this most disappointing development,” says David Hirsh, President of Brandy Lane Homes, in a release.
Brandy Lane Homes has retained the award-winning landscape firm NAK Design Strategies to redevelop the park. The City of Toronto will also ensure that the south side of the park complements NAK’s design.
“We will work with the City and area residents to achieve the best possible solution going forward for Robertson Davies Park, so it continues to be an important neighbourhood amenity,” Hirsh adds.
The Davies Condominiums
The luxury condo, The Davies, features a wide selection of suites ranging from 1,220 to 3,660 square feet, with two- and three-bedroom plans. A few of the impressive interior features and finishes include gas fireplaces, pre-finished engineered hardwood flooring, porcelain and ceramic tile, custom designed cabinetry by Cameo Kitchens, and granite or Caesarstone countertops.
In addition to being located steps from Robertson Davies Park, The Davies has exclusive building amenities designed for entertaining, relaxing, and socializing. The Avenue Room on the main floor is ideal for entertaining small and large groups. There is a catering kitchen and a conference room for private dining that can accommodate up to 10 people. Other amenities on the main floor include a fully equipped fitness centre, a dog-washing facility, and a guest suite.
There is also a rooftop lounge that features a reading garden, a sunbathing area, a lounge, and a wet bar. There are stunning city and park views that will surely impress guests.
