Brampton still on top with the most new low-rise sales
By Lucas on Jun 07, 2016
After a very busy spring season of new low-rise sales across the Total Market Area (TMA), Brampton maintains its top spot with 2,384 sales so far this year, according to Trimart Research Corporation.
Milton is following from a distance with 689 sales, and Pickering is in third with 438. Markham is close behind with 435 sales and as expected, Kitchener is hot with 409. So far, most of Trimart’s predictions are proving to be accurate, and they are now anticipating that Scarborough will see a surge in new low-rise sales in the coming months.
Listed below are a few notable low-rise sites of the last month:
Spring Valley Junction by Lindvest
Since Brampton has so many sales already this year, it makes sense that the top position on this week’s Trimart Hot Spots list is taken by Spring Valley Junction, a new home community in Brampton by Lindvest that saw 40 sales recently. The community featured 38’ and 41’ detached homes ranging from 1,953 to 3,467 square feet and prices from the low $700,000s.
Heron Park by Mattamy Homes
Taking second with 32 sales recently is Heron Park, a new home community by Mattamy Homes. Heron Park, located in Scarborough, featured urban townhomes and three-storey townhomes, and is now sold out! One of the reasons Milton has so many new low-rise sales is because of Mattamy Homes, and if Trimart is predicting that Scarborough will be booming in the coming months because Mattamy is active there, then we’re believers.
Mayfield Village by Aspen Ridge Homes
In the third position, we have another successful Brampton community, Mayfield Village by Aspen Ridge Homes. Last month, there were 19 sales at the community and the townhomes and semis of the current phase are now sold out. There is still a selection of 38’ detached homes, ranging from 2,164 to 2,564 square feet, with prices starting at $746,990.
Sharon Village by Great Gulf
Coming in fourth with 15 sales recently is Sharon Village, a new home community in Sharon by Great Gulf. After a busy spring, Sharon Village is now sold out of its 32’, 36’, and 40’ detached homes. There is still a collection of 20’ townhomes available, ranging from 1,910 to 2,195 square feet, with prices starting at $627,990.
Creekside by Sundial Homes
The final position on the weekly Trimart Hot Spots list is taken by another Sharon community, Creekside by Sundial Homes. There were 13 sales at Creekside recently. The community features 32’, 40’, and 50’ detached homes, ranging from 1,348 to 5,133 square feet, with prices starting at $649,990.
