Brampton sees the most new low-rise sales in 2015!
By Lucas on Dec 16, 2015
With record breaking sales last October and many new site openings through the fall, the new low-rise market has been very strong for all of 2015. Still, even with many new openings, the supply just cannot keep up with demand. According to Trimart Research Corporation, these are the top five cities with the most new low-rise sales: Brampton has 5,975 sales as of the end of October. Oakville is in second with 1,347 sales, and Barrie is in third with 1,176. East Gwillimbury is following closely behind with 1,143 sales, and Milton is in fifth with 1,091.
Listed below are a few notable low-rise sites of the last month:
Kingmeadow - via Minto
Coming in first on this week’s Trimart Hot Spots list is Kingmeadow, Minto’s Oshawa community. Last month, there were 22 sales at Kingmeadow. There is a selection of townhomes available, ranging from 1,775 to 1,862 square feet, with prices starting from $407,990. The 36’ and 43’ detached homes are currently sold out, but there will be a new release, so keep your eye on this community!
U.C. - via Tribute
Placing second with 18 sales last month is U.C. - another Oshawa community - by Tribute Communities. U.C. also features an array of townhomes, ranging from 1,782 to 1,986 square feet, with prices starting from $363,990. As you can see, Kingmeadow and U.C. are priced similarly, so if you're looking for a new townhome in Oshawa, you should probably check out both communities.
Mayfield Village - via Regal Crest Homes
The third spot is taken by Mayfield Village by Regal Crest Homes, a Brampton community that saw 14 sales last month. Mayfield Village features a very wide collection of home styles, including 20’ and 25’ townhomes, 30’ semis, and 38’ and 45’ detached homes. The homes range from 1,676 to 3,174 square feet, with prices starting from $464,900.
Mayfield Village - via Aspen Ridge Homes
Mayfield Village in Brampton is a joint community between a few builders, another of which is Aspen Ridge Homes, who saw 11 sales last month. Aspen Ridge features 20’ and 25’ townhomes, 30’ and 32’ semis, and 38’ detached homes, ranging from 1,484 to 2,564 square feet. As expected, Aspen Ridge’s offerings at Mayfield Village are priced similarly to Regal Crest’s, with prices starting at $443,990.
Seven Oaks - via Fernbrook
Tying for the fourth position on this week’s Trimart Hot Spots list is Seven Oaks, a luxury community in Oakville by Fernbrook Homes that also had 11 sales last month. All of the townhomes at Seven Oaks are sold out, but there are still 38’ and 43’ detached homes available, ranging from 2,469 to 3,791 square feet. Prices start at $969,990 and reach over $1.1 million.
