Brampton, Pickering, and Oakville new home sales already in the triple digits

The latest report from Trimart Research Corporation states that the new low-rise market is in store for a strong amount of sales across the Total Market Area (TMA) in the first quarter of 2016. There are many openings planned for March, and with new low-rise homes in high demand, it will be welcomed inventory. Expect to see a surge in new home sales!
Trimart also announced that the top three areas with the most new low-rise sales so far for 2016 have hit the triple digits already. Brampton is in first with 292 sales, Pickering is in second with 175, and Oakville takes third with 103 sales.
Listed below are a few notable low-rise sites of the last month:
Placing first on this week’s Trimart Hot Spots list is Seaton Taunton in Pickering by Mattamy Homes (image above). During opening month, there were 167 sales! The community features rear lane townhomes, village homes, two-storey townhomes, and 30’ and 36’ detached homes, ranging from 1,044 to 2,758 square feet. If you’re interested in pricing, then you need to keep your eye out for a new release that will be coming soon.
Hawthorne South Village by Mattamy Homes
It’s becoming a common occurrence for Mattamy Homes to occupy the top two positions of the Hot Spots list. This week, their Milton community, Hawthorne South Village takes second with 36 sales last month. The community features rear lane townhomes, village homes, two-storey townhomes, and 30’, 34’, 36’, and 43’ detached homes. The homes range from 1,044 to 3,252 square feet and prices are starting from $377, 990.
Lotus Pointe by Rosehaven Homes
Coming in third with 16 sales last month is Lotus Pointe by Rosehaven Homes. This successful Caledon community features two- and three-storey townhomes, as well as 36’ detached homes, ranging from 1,461 to 2,722 square feet. Prices are starting from $465,990.
Summerlyn Village by Great Gulf
The fourth spot is taken by Summerlyn Village, a Great Gulf community in Bradford that recently had nine sales. The community offers 36’ and 40’ detached homes ranging to more than 3,000 square feet. This is another community you need to watch out for if you’re interested in pricing because there is a new release coming soon!
Harbourside by Senator Homes
The final position on this week’s Trimart Hot Spots list is taken by Harbourside, a Senator Homes community in Whitby. The urban townhome development is a four-storey condo with units ranging from 708 to 1,322 square feet and prices starting from $276,990. Senator Homes is currently offering an attractive incentive package, including one parking space and one locker.
