Once again, the new home industry, specifically members of the Building Industry and Land Development Association (BILD), has outdone itself. The fifth annual Race for Humanity and 22nd annual Charity BBQ raised more than $45,000 for Habitat for Humanity GTA!

More than 650 BILD members, from builders and developers to renovators and service professionals attended the two events. Presented by The Toronto Star and In2ition Realty, the Race for Humanity involved a scavenger hunt with 28 teams scouring the City of Toronto, hunting for clues. The Charity BBQ was hosted on BILD’s front lawn, and as always, featured some incredible food.

"These two annual events are another example of our industry's strong legacy of giving back through volunteerism, philanthropy and sponsorship," said BILD President and CEO Bryan Tuckey. "I am proud to represent an association whose members are so committed to making the GTA a better place to live for future generations."

Congratulations to all the members of BILD who contributed to this amazing cause. Can’t wait to see the industry top itself at next year’s Race for Humanity and Charity BBQ!
