Grosvenor and Cressey Team up in Calgary

Seasoned Calgary developer the Grosvenor Group is teaming with Cressey, a construction and property management company, to bring a new twin-tower condo to the corner of 5th Avenue and 10th Street. The new project has been dubbed “Avenue West End.”

"In developing one of the final parcels of land in this established downtown Calgary neighbourhood we set out to create a best in class development. Grosvenor and Cressey's proven track record of superior design and longstanding history of building quality homes will bring a truly unique product to the area," said Michael Ward, Vice President of Development for Grosvenor Americas, in a release.

Avenue West End in Calgary

Rising 24 and 18 storeys, Avenue West End will feature a total of 319 new units. Avenue West End is expected to boast some high-end features and finishes that will make life at the corner of 5th and 10th very luxurious. Some of the suite features include generous balconies, real hardwood flooring, and 'CresseyKitchens', which will be a first for Calgary. Avenue West End will also have a grand hotel inspired lobby, which will house the condominium’s full-time concierge.

The Location of Avenue West End

As previously mentioned, Avenue West End will be located at 5th Avenue and 10th Street, a highly sought after neighbourhood. The tower will add a new air sophistication, and breathe a little life into the already established area. Residents will be close to parks, golf clubs, and some great retail options.

Construction is expected to start on Avenue West End in 2014 with occupancy scheduled as early as 2016.
