488 University by Amexon in Toronto is 75% Sold!

It’s been less than half a year since Amexon Development Corporation launched The Residences of 488 University Avenue, and the project is already 75% sold!
That amount of sales is pretty impressive considering there are over 450 units at 488 University, which means there are a little over 100 units remaining. The available units reach up to 1,136 square feet and range from one-bedroom plans to three-bedroom+den. A few of the impressive interior features and finishes include hardwood flooring, stone tile, European appliances, and ensuites with marble walls and floors. Also, the balconies are very spacious since they are eight feet deep. Prices for the remaining units start at $398,800.

The Worth Avenue floorplan is a two-bedroom unit with a total area of 980 square feet (including a 160 square foot balcony). The best thing about Worth Avenue, aside from the large outdoor space, is the fact that there are two full bathrooms in an 820 square foot space. The sliding glass doors are on one end of the narrow unit, so there is an abundance of natural light. Speaking of natural light, the southeast exposure is great for two reasons. For one, all the extra sun will be great during icy winters like this one. Secondly, balcony plants and indoor plants love southern exposures. So, in the winter, you may save a little on hydro, and in the spring and summer, you can have beautiful plants.
“The biggest thing is that most of our suites are float-through floorplans, so from your master ensuite, from the stand-up tub, you can actually see throughout to your balcony and have a beautiful view,” said Jason Shiff, executive sales manager at 488 University, when we interviewed him last year.
The design of 488 University
Via Amexon
Designed by CORE Architects, an award-winning international firm based in Toronto, 488 University will rise 55 storeys, making a strong statement on the northwest corner of University Avenue and Dundas Street West. The contemporary glass tower will almost serve as a mirror, reflecting the diversity of the neighbourhood, where the Financial District, Chinatown, and the University of Toronto St. George Campus all kind of blend together. The glass-jewelled podium will shimmer at street level, turning heads of passersby.
II By IV Design, another award-winning team is responsible for the incredible interiors, including the 30,000 square feet of amenity space. A few of the amazing amenities include a fully equipped fitness centre, indoor and outdoor pools, a screening room, a podium restaurant on the second floor, and a two-storey SkyLobby with an outstanding outdoor terrace.
“There’s also a yoga studio, conference room, private events room, billiard room, his and her change rooms with elaborate marble countertops, steam room, sauna, squash court, spinning studio, and this is all only on the 18th floor,” explained Shiff.
