2014 Toronto Fall Home Show Coming Soon!
By Lucas on Sep 16, 2014
It’s that time of year again - the 2014 Toronto Fall Home Show is only a few days away! Between September 18 and September 21, Better Living Centre at Exhibition Place will be bustling with home related exhibitors, new homebuyers, and those generally interested in this season’s trends.
The Toronto Fall Home Show features a wide variety of exhibitors, offering a range of services, such as how to hire the proper contractor for a home renovation or how to maintain your home for the colder seasons. While these maintenance and service tables are very helpful, the majority of the attendees are there for the home decor, art, interior design and furnishing exhibitors. Kitchen and bath tips, new home construction information, and architectural design are also very popular themes at the Home Show.
The show features more than 200 exhibitors, so to make sure you get your money’s worth, do some research before going and plan out your day! For home decor, art, interior design & furnishings, we recommend stopping by Artemano, Guanaco Leather, and Patterson’s Furniture. For construction & renovation, remodeling, and contractors, check out Decorock Concrete Coatings, Perma-Wood, and Norseman Construction and Development. For a full list of exhibitors, click here.
Toronto Home Show contests
There are also a number of contests put on by exhibitors and sponsors that can be entered online. One of the contests is The $600 Marketplace Sweepstakes, which gives the winner prize money to spend at Sears, Home Depot, and Target.
Another exciting contest is for a $1,000 shopping spree at Artemano’s and an in-home design consultation. Benjamin Moore launched a contest, too, offering the winner a personal in-home decor consultation with regular Cityline guest and Benjamin Moore Colour and Design expert, Sharon Grech. The winner will also receive a Benjamin Moore fandeck and paint to get started with a new transformation (the prize is valued at $600).

The fourth contest is for a weekend getaway at the Toronto Fairmont Royal York and a Teppan dining experience at Benihana, offered by Home + Style. The winner and a friend will spend two luxurious nights at the landmark hotel and have their dinner cooked right at their table by one of the famous Benihana chefs (this prize is valued at $1,100).
General adult admission for the 2014 Home Show is $15, but if you purchase your tickets in advance online right now, you can save $3 and get tickets for $12! Prices for children and seniors range from $10 to $13 depending on age. Children under 12 years old receive free admission.
If you’re adventurous, enjoy DIY projects, and are looking for some home improvement tips, you do not want to miss the Toronto Fall Home Show. The next home show isn’t coming back until February 2015 for The GTA Home & Reno Show, which will take place at The International Centre in Mississauga. But there’s no reason to wait until then, buy your tickets for the Toronto Home Show today!
